The fifth release in the multi award-winning Ghost and Rare series
The Johnnie Walker team of expert whisky makers, led by Johnnie Walker Master Blender Dr Emma Walker, handpicked the most distinctive expressions of maturing whisky from Port Dundas for this new limited edition.
Port Dundas
The renowned distillery of Port Dundas is nestled on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, and shipped its distinct Scotch from Glasgow to ports across the world for nearly 200 years. Built in 1811, Port Dundas became a whisky blending powerhouse, known for its distinctive sweet and delicate grain character, before closing in 2010.
“The rare expressions that we have chosen from our reserves are some of the most distinctive Port Dundas has ever produced - their slow maturation allowing the delicate Grain character to blossom.
”Dr Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker Master Blender
